We have three rooms, namely the Namib, the Boland and the Puntje Room.

  The Namib is our double room, with a double bed, en-suite shower, television and view on the front garden.

The Boland Room is the bigger of our two twin rooms, with en-suite shower and two single beds.

The Puntje Room is our smallest twin room, with en-suite bathroom and television.

We have B&B and selfcatering options on all rooms. We do not do dinners and a limited laundry service is available.

Attractions

History's Walk has a resident registered tourist guide who can arrange customized battlefield tours in the province of Kwazulu-Natal. Johann has a B.A in Military History, and has four ancestors who fought in the Battle of Blood River, and one in the Battle of Spioenkop.

He is a former Namibian Police Officer who travelled extensively in Europe, and now co-owns and works out of History's Walk B&B in Dundee.

There are also conference facilities within walking distance form the B&B, and the wolrd-renowd Talana Museum is a five km drive from us. The Dundee Bowling Club is just across the street from us, if bowling is your interest.

There are several old and historical buildings, like the old police station where the Mahatma Ghandi was locked up,and the St. James' Church, where Gen. Sir William Penn Symons was buried after he was killed in action during the Battle of Talana, just outside Dundee.

Facilities

We have a limited laundry facility and undercover parking, off the street. Battlefield Tours are available, as we have a resident provincial tour guide. Conference facilities are a block away, and the Dundee Country Club, with a nine hole golf course, is walking distance away. We are also a haven for a large variety of bird species, including raptors.

Directions

When entering Dundee from Newcastle/Glencoe in Karellandman Road, turn left at Tatham Street, cross railway bridge, and continue to roundabout in Victoria Street. Turn left, and turn right at Coronation Street junction. Continue towards T-junction. We are on lefthand corner. Look out for our sign.
